What Would You Do?
May 3rd 2012
What would you do if you and your significant other were on vacation, taking a trip on your Honda Goldwing and a gang of outlaw bikers ambush you? They rape and kill your significant other, beat you half to death and put you in a coma for three months. When you wake up, you can’t even remember your own name. Most people, after they healed up from their injuries, and regained their memories would greave for their lost loved one, but they would most likely let the law take care of the problem and get on with their life. Oh, they might harbor feelings of anger toward the people who committed the crime, and they might desire revenge, but they wouldn’t act upon those feelings.
In my new novel, Thunder Road, the main character, Mike McDonald, a Persian Gulf War vet, takes a different path. After he heals from his injuries and regains his strength, Mike goes on the warpath against the outlaw motorcycle club known as The Lost Souls. Using, guns, knives and homemade explosives, Mike takes on not only the LA chapter of The Lost Souls Motorcycle club, but also their chapters in Las Vegas, Utah and Idaho. In Green River Wyoming, Mike hooks up with a friendly bike club known as The Green River Boys and they help him in his war with The Lost Souls. The final battle takes place at a cabin on a lonely mountain road, known as Thunder Road.

What would you do if you walked down into the basement of your house and discovered a horde of flesh eating zombies, or maybe a pack of werewolves or vampires? If you were a character in my short story collection, you might call Mike Monroe, of Monroe’s Paranormal Investigations. You can order Monroe’s Paranormal Investigations at Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble. You can also check out the publisher, The Living Dead Press. Click on the links below to order.
What would you do if one day before going to work, you picked up a good book and after reading a few chapters, you head out the door to go to work, but when you do, you hear a clap of thunder, see a flash of blue light somehow you are teleported into the world of the book you were just reading? In my science fiction novel, Tale Spinner, Brandon Merryweather is teleported into the land of fiction. The people there expect him to carry on the tale that the passed author, now deceased, left unfinished. They call him the new tale spinner. Will Brandon do what the characters want and finish the tale, or will he be forever lost in the land of fiction? You can order Tale Spinner at Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble or Otherworld Publications.
